God has posed many questions at various times to various individuals. Let us consider the following.
Genesis 3:9, 13; 4:9.
In the Garden of Eden, after Adam had sinned, God said, “Where are you?
To Eve, after the Fall, he said, “What is this that you have done?”
To Cain after Cain had murdered Abel: “Where is Abel, your brother?”
God poses many questions to Job in Job 38-41, but I would like us to consider these two from Job 38:38, 41.
Who has put wisdom in the mind? Or who has given understanding to the heart?
Who provides food for the raven, When its young ones cry to God, And wander about for lack of food?
Jesus in Matthew 12:48; 16:15; John 14:9, 10; 21:5, 16, 17; Acts 9:4.
“Who is my mother, and who are my brothers?”
“Who do you say I am?”
“Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip?”
“Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me?”
“Children, have you any food?
“Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me?”
“Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?”
Do you have the answers?
Is HE asking you any of these questions?
